The Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) recently recognized Bill Sennholz, president and CEO of Forward Bank, for his service on the WBA Board of Directors. Sennholz joined the board in 2023 and recently completed his three-year term supporting Wisconsin’s banking industry and communities.

“On behalf of The Association, we are so appreciative of Bill’s commitment to the industry during his time on the WBA Board,” said Rose Oswald Poels, WBA president and CEO. “Bill has brought a strong voice for Wisconsin banks, offering valuable insights and a collaborative approach that helped shape initiatives benefiting our members. Sennholz joined Forward Bank in 2005 and became president and CEO later that year. During his leadership, Forward Bank has grown from two offices in Marshfield to 14 locations across central Wisconsin and one in Minnesota, while continuing to focus on community banking and customer service.

“Bill has always represented Forward Bank and community banking with integrity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed,” said Jon Pesko, chairman of the Forward Bank Board of Directors. “His leadership within the Wisconsin banking industry reflects the same values we live every day at Forward — putting people first, strengthening communities, and working together to move our communities forward.”

Sennholz earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. He remains active in the community through his service on the Board of Directors of The Sandford/Security Health Plan as the Vice Chairman/Treasurer and the Marshfield Clinic Health System Regional Board of Directors, and treasurer for the Marshfield Area YMCA.
