Forward Bank is pleased to welcome two experienced lending professionals to its Lake City team: Brent Meincke as Vice President / Market President and Wade Carlson as Vice President / Commercial Loan Officer.
Meet Brent Meincke
Brent Meincke grew up on a dairy farm just outside of Lake City and attended Winona State University, where he earned a degree in Sales and Marketing. He brings more than two decades of banking experience in mortgage, commercial, and agricultural lending, along with leadership experience in community banking.
Meincke has a long history of community involvement, including service with the Lake City Lions Club and the Lake City Education Foundation, where he currently serves as treasurer. When he’s not working, Meincke enjoys following football and college basketball, getting out on the golf course, and spending time with family.
Meincke said he is looking forward to continuing his work in the Lake City community. “Lake City is home for me, personally and professionally,” he said. “I’ve built lasting relationships here, and I’m excited to continue supporting local businesses and families with a team that shares those same values.”
Meet Wade Carlson
Wade Carlson was born and raised in Lake City, MN. He brings 15 years of banking experience, including more than a decade focused on commercial lending. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Luther College and works closely with local businesses to provide relationship-based lending solutions.
Carlson is active in the community through service on the City of Lake City’s Revolving Loan Committee and as a member of the Frontenac Sportsman Club. Away from the office, he can often be found outdoors bow hunting, golfing, or enjoying time with his wife and young children.
“Community banking is about being available, doing what’s right, and supporting the people who live and work here,” Carlson stated. “Forward’s approach fits that mindset, and I’m proud to be part of it.”
