Forward Bank Donates $5,000 toward Dorchester Community Brat Stand

June 15, 2022

Forward Bank has donated $5,000 to help with the construction of a new portable brat fry stand to be used by local non-profits and for Dorchester Days.

The new brat fry stand, which is currently located at the corner of Highway 13 and County Highway A, has already been used for one fundraiser since being constructed by civic minded business owners. Forward joined the Dorchester Lions, Curtiss Lions, and members of the Dorchester Days Committee in contributing to this project.

“It is exciting to see a new business in our community jump in and contribute to a project like the brat stand,” commented Seth Pinter, Dorchester Days Committee Member. “When like-minded groups and businesses come together in a community like Dorchester, we can make great things happen. I hope that every group that uses this stand understands that we all stand together to make our town great!”

“Our support of the brat fry stand started with its use as part of Dorchester Days,” stated Janet Beyerl, Relationship Banker at Forward Bank in Dorchester. “That one event is a centerpiece for our community and draws so many people from the surrounding area. Knowing that the Lions and other groups use the stand throughout the year made the project perfect to support. At Forward, we want to help as many community groups and members as possible.”
